Fazendas Dutra are a family run business located in the stunning Matas de Minas region, Brazil. They have a diverse range of product as they produce organic coffee, specialty coffee and extraordinary micro-lot coffees.
The coffee trees were first planted in 1950 in mountains with altitudes up to 1350 meters. The whole process is done in perfect harmony with nature, among rocks, woods and waterfalls.
Geisha, sometimes referred to as Gesha, is a varietal of coffee that requires very specific cultivation and conditions, they are a very demanding plant to both grow and harvest and because of this are not only expensive but considered some of the best coffee beans in the world. They generally produce a very aromatic and floral cup of coffee and the demand for it has grown in recent years.
